J & A Stevenson Ltd were asked to manufacture 260 linear meters of temporary SureGRP Anti Slip Sheets with tactiles and all sight lines and nosings incorporated into the sheets with a curvature profile to follow the railway lines.
The project from start to finish was only 18 days the project was successfully completed on time.

We offer demountable temporary platforms for train, tram or general raised access applications. The platforms are of interlocking modular construction, with a substantial steel subframe and adjustable feet.
Our modular platform surface is 12mm thick Suregrp material with tactile inserts as required for the duty. Fully DDA compliant ramped access, handrails throughout and barrier fencing complete the package.
We pre-assemble the modular platform in our factory before it is moved to site to ensure perfect fit and quick assembly on site without snags or problems, avoiding loss of service for end-users.

J& A Stevenson were awarded the contract to aid with DDA Compliance on the new Wembley Stadium, and esure all handrails were warm-to-touch.
We completed the job to a high standard and the dual-height handrails have helped to ensure that the stadium complies with all points of the Disability Discrimination Act.
The job was completed on time and to a high standard.

J& A Stevenson were awarded the contract to make help make Pewsey Railway Station footbridge DDA Compliant, including manufacture and installation of dual height, warm to touch handrails and anti-slip flooring for pedestrian use.

New warm to touch handrail were designed fabricated shot blasted and coated all in house and fitted by our own on site team in a number of days, ensuring that minimal disruption to the use of the bridge.
The anti slip surfaces and tactile flooring were all bespoke manufactured to meet with the rail specifications.
Works were completed within one week.

J& A Stevenson Ltd were contracted to make Warminster Railway Station Footbridge DDA Compliant. Anti-Slip Stair Treads with full height riser were bespoke manufactured together with landing areas with tactile and nosings incorporated into the sheet.
The overhead bridge had a complete new overdeck floor made up of 6mm thick light-commercial use suregrp anti slip sheets which were also bespoke manufactured. Tactiles were manufactured and fitted to the top and bottom of each stairs.
Old handrails were removed and a new DDA compliant warm to touch double handrail system was designed, manufactured and installed.
The project was scheduled to last two weeks but was completed within the first, with minimal disruption to the station
